Free for up to five people

Every plan gives you the whole of TaskHutch, because we'd rather not sell you a version with the good bits taken out. What you pay for is room — more people, and more space for files. There's no card to start, and nothing runs out after two weeks.

Common questions

What counts as a person?

Anybody who can sign in. There are no guest seats or viewer seats to work around, mostly because they always turn into an argument about who really needs an account and who can borrow somebody else's.

What happens when we hit the 2GB or 5-person limit?

Nothing stops working. Everything you've made stays exactly where it is and carries on as normal — you just can't add a sixth person or upload past the limit until you move up to Team. We aren't going to lock you out of your own tasks to hurry you along.

Do the paid plans have extra features?

No, and that's deliberate. Every plan gets the whole product, and the paid ones add people, storage and support rather than switching features on. If something is worth building, it's worth everybody having it.

Can we cancel anytime?

Yes, whenever you like. Your plan runs to the end of the period you've paid for and then drops back to Free, with every task and doc still sitting exactly where you left it.

Can we have more than one workspace?

Yes. A workspace is a team and everything it owns — tasks, docs, notes, files, categories and templates — and you can belong to several and switch between them from the top bar. Each workspace has its own plan and its own storage.

Does it connect to anything else?

GitHub, and only if you ask it to. An admin connects the workspace, and after that a task shows a pull request when somebody connects one to it by hand — with its state, reviews and checks, and optionally moving the task along as the PR opens and merges. There is no other integration, and nothing is switched on for you.

Where does our data live?

In the EU. Files are stored encrypted, and anything you’ve marked private stays private — admins can’t read it, and we aren’t going through it either. That includes your notes, which are private unless you choose to share one.
